We've all got a drawer like this.
An old phone. A DSLR from that one trip. Chargers for things we don't even own anymore. Sooner or later, all of it gets thrown out. We started Renten so it gets used instead.
You pay full price, the gadget sits unused, and eventually it's thrown away.
Renters pay a fraction of the price, owners earn from it, and the gadget keeps working.
How it works
List it
Take a photo, set a price per day, done. Takes about two minutes, and the app fills in most of the details for you.
Someone rents it
A person nearby books it for a day, a week or a month. They pay in the app and leave a security deposit.
Sell it on
Not using it anymore? Sell it on Renten, so it goes to someone who will.
When it's really done
If it can't be fixed, we'll help you get it to [CERTIFIED E-WASTE RECYCLING PARTNER]. Not the dustbin.
